Zlá skúsenosť s Dr. Drábekom na Sanatóriu Helios
I spent weeks communicating with Sanatórium Helios Bratislava to arrange IVF monitoring and a prescription for a treatment plan that had been provided to Dr. Drábek in advance. Based on the clinic's confirmation that they could support the plan, I travelled to Bratislava for the appointment.
After waiting more than two hours, I was informed that Dr. Drábek would not prescribe the medications required for the protocol, despite having had access to the treatment plan beforehand.
The problem is not whether Dr. Drábek agreed with the protocol, but the lack of communication and respect for the time, expense and emotional investment involved in fertility treatment. It is unprofessional to confirm support for a patient's treatment plan, require the patient to attend an appointment, and only then communicate that the requested assistance will not be provided.
Patients deserve clear communication and transparency, particularly when time-sensitive fertility treatment is involved. My experience was that informed agreements made in advance were not honoured by Dr. Drábek.
@elizabeth9876 What I don't really understand is why you travelled to Bratislava when there are fertility clinics closer to where you live. If travelling there is such an inconvenience for you, wouldn't it be easier to undergo treatment at a clinic nearer to your home?

@anonym_e0f765 The requestor states in her profile that she lives in Bratislava. What are you trying to say with your comment? Absolutely not relevant to the topic.

@anonym_e0f765 your reaction completely correspond with standard slovak attitude toward any even little negative experience what could another person have. She could find another clinic but she didn't. Doctor could inform her in advance but he didn't. It is how it is.

@elizabeth9876 I am sorry to hear that. It is completely unprofessional. But unfortunately it is the way how it is done in Slovakia in many fields. Power fights everywhere to show nothing but disrespect for others.
I don't have experience with IVF but I hope somebody will give you contact to clinic with good reference to help you.
